About the Project
‘Composite Materials and Technical Textile Prototype Production and Application Center’ Technical Assistance Project (BUTEXCOMP) is carried out under the Competitive Sectors Programme, co-financed by European Union and the Republic of Türkiye and carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
As implemented by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) and Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center (BUTEKOM), this project is divided into two components; supply and technical assistance, and the total approved budget is 6,151.512,00 Euros.
With the project, by supporting the transformation of SMEs operating in the technical textile and composite sectors in Bursa, the transformation of the Bursa textile and composite industry into technical textiles and composites will be ensured with a cluster approach, and to increase the competitiveness of SMEs and to move them up in regional, national and global value chains.
The ‘Composite Material and Technical Textile Prototype Production and Application Center’ Technical Support Project, which includes the technical assistance component created to make BUTEXCOMP operative and increase its visibility and improve the capacities of SMEs, started on October 20, 2021 and will continue its activities for 30 months.
